The systematic and continuous study of new lexical units is intrinsically linked to the dynamic evolution and constant changes in the lexical structure of the language, as well as the integration and adaptation of neologisms into the language. The article examines and gives examples of neologisms of modern social networks, analyzes the peculiarities of their formation, focusing on the tendency of using new words and expressions in online communication, especially among young people. The profound impact of social networking on life of modern generations is described, the vocabulary disparities across different age groups is juxtaposed. The distribution and significance of Italian neologisms are analyzed, and their impact on language and culture is determined. The results of the study underscore not only the evolutionary trajectory of the Italian language but also its pivotal role in articulating sociocultural trends within modern society through the pervasive adoption of neologisms.
